OUR STORY

UP2STNDRD is a platform that focuses on showcasing and highlighting artists in the ever-growing Scottish hip-hop/rap music scene. Our online shows provide opportunities for artists to feature and gain visibility. Initially launched as the media arm of UP2STNDRD Recording Studio, we noticed a lack of engagement by larger organizations with the genre and key demographic. We have since grown to become the go-to place for an overview of what is happening within the genre in Scotland. In addition, as a partner organization for the "HIP HOP Bursary," we provide yearly grants to young musicians and practitioners to support their creative development.
